Fox News rates the Ohio Senate race as Lean D
The last Power Rankings before the election have Sherrod Brown as a slight favorite.
Fox News has moved the Ohio Senate race from toss-up to Lean D. That is in the Fox News Power Rankings of 1 November 2026, published at 14:30 CET. Fox calls them the last rankings before the election.
In Ohio, the Democrat Sherrod Brown is running in a special election against Jon Husted (R). According to Fox, Brown is ahead of Husted. Cook lists the race as a toss-up, Inside Elections as Tilt D.
In the same update Fox had moved Kansas to toss-up. A report on that already appeared here. It did not include the Ohio rating, which is added here.
